It was a rainy afternoon but the lovely writers braved the weather to be part of PressStart Studio's first-ever (hopefully of many) Writer's Meet-up last August 24, 2019. A panel of cultural creatives talked about writing in music, humour in creative writing, indie publishing, and screen writing.

The speakers for the sessions and their topics were the following

1. Elaine Ruiz, author of Press Start: Play Guide for Life Game Changers - Write Here, Write Now: Rediscovering your Passion for Writing

2. Chuchie Ledesma, author of Book of Bilins - Humor and the Creative Writing Process

3. Silver Belen, songwriter and founder of Bowfinger records - Storytelling in Song Writing

4. Universe Baldoza, film maker and screen writer - Scene Building in Screen Writing

They shared amazing input on writing and how to get unstuck and find inspiration even in the most unlikely circumstances.

The meet up received amazing and heart warming feedback from the participants who also gained new writer friends in the process.
